The New Yorker Festival. Electric marketing design for a revered weekend of events.
Working in tandem with the editorial design team at The New Yorker, we created an electric collection of marketing material for the 2018 Festival that was inspired by the iconic neon signage found around the streets of New York. Collateral included print/video signage for all five venues, inbook print ads, digital ads, social media marketing, and of course, merchandise. Don’t tell me you won’t coo at the sight of that New Yorker onesie.
Land Rover Coffee Bar
As Land Rover was the largest advertiser for the Festival, we created a branded coffee bar inside one of the venues to pair with the morning and afternoon talks. Each coffee cup was branded with a custom travel cartoon by Emily Flake. Next to the bar was a display for custom luggage tags with a second cartoon by Emily on the front of the tag, and New Yorker branding on the back of the tag.
